Events can be run at both public and private venues. This could be someone’s house, a pub, a winery, a hall or a cafe.
Depending on location Melanie may be able to suggest venues where she has hosted workshops in the past or make suggestions. Please chat with her about this if you are unsure.
On the day of your event, Melanie will arrive approximately one hour before the start time to set up and will need half an hour to pack up.

The workshops run for approx. 2.5-3 hours. This varies depending on the group however 3 hours is the maximum.
I run a very social and casual event so people can nibble and drink, chat and paint so people don’t feel rushed or under pressure.
-
For most workshops I encourage people to create their own designs they would like as the item is theirs to keep.
Examples and guides are supplied for those people who are happier to follow instructions or need a little creative inspiration.
However, if a planned design is preferred this can be arranged including a pre-drawn sketch to get people started.
-
Events are recommended for 16 years and older. Depending on venue licencing the minimum age maybe 18.

We do provide aprons, but accidents do happen so be mindful of that.
For outdoor events dress for the weather and don’t forget the sunscreen.
