Painting
Melanie Sky’s takes an expanded approach when it comes to painting, exploring the intersection between painting, printmaking, ceramics and textile art.
Her work is an ongoing investigation into her sense of self, place, and connection, which intertwines with themes of femininity and identity. Drawing on her inherent energetic connection with the Australian environment, she channels her passion for movement and the interplay of nature and colour into material-led practice.
